In 2010, Gayle co-wrote “MoMoirs, I’ll give you something to cry about!” a collection of short stories about motherhood. Today Gayle is a prolific painter showing in galleries with her husband Tony Woolner in New York City, Connecticut, and Westchester County.

Gayle Gleckler graduated from Mariemont High School with the class of 1960. She was active as class Vice-President, editor of the Warpath, a member of the Pep Club, and in the visual arts. She attended the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor of Design degree.
The Lords of Flatbush was written and directed by Martin Davidson and Stephen Verona (with additional screenplay work from Gayle Gleckler and additional dialogue from co-star Sylvester Stallone) and followed the goings-on of a gang of four high school friends, self-styled as The Lords of Flatbush.
