In 2006, the school absorbed St Mary's School, Wantage and was briefly named Heathfield St Mary's School but reverted to Heathfield School in 2009 to prevent confusion with another local girls' school St Mary's School, Ascot .
Heathfield School is just before the junction with the B3017 on the left-hand side of the road. From the M3, leave at junction 3 and follow the A322 towards Bracknell. After 2 miles, take the right hand lane and follow the road towards Ascot.
