Jan 24, 2021 · OBJECT Z (1965) – Directed by Daphne Shadwell and written by Christopher McMaster, this was one of the many six-episode science fiction serials from British television of the 1950s and 1960s.
A six-part sequel, Object Z Returns, followed in February and March 1966. As the real meteor neared the Earth, the planet began to freeze, with snow and ice spreading across the world. But this ‘meteor’ turned out to be something directed by an alien intelligence.
Professor Ramsay (Nossek) and other Scientists report that a meteoroid with a diameter of six or more miles is on collision course with Earth, threatening Disaster; the bad news is duly announced by the UK Prime Minister (Somers).
Object Z Returns. Following events from "Object Z" Professor Ramsay is released from prison to help deal with three more mysterious objects which are hurtling towards Earth... only this time, they are what they seem - alien craft bent on a mission deadly to mankind!
