Season 14 of King of the Hill is returning after more than 13 years off the air. The show was picked up by Hulu on January 31, 2023, and is expected to premiere on Hulu in early 2025.
A hilarious slice of middle-class life in small-town America, King of the Hill has become one of television's most beloved and longest-running prime-time animated series. Outrageously funny, but remarkably truthful, the series follows the exploits of propane salesman Hank Hill (Mike Judge) as he reigns over a family of underachievers, a group of beer-guzzling friends, and the everyday challenges of life in Arlen, Texas.
•This will be the first season to stream exclusively on Hulu.
•This will be the first season not to feature Brittany Murphy, Tom Petty, and Toby Huss. It hasn't yet been confirmed whether Luanne Platter, Lucky Kleinschmidt, or Kahn Souphanousinphone will be recast or written out of the new season.
•A majority of the original cast will be reprising their roles in the reboot, including co-creator Mike Judge, who plays both the lead role of Hank Hill and the supporting role of neighborhood ladies’ man Boomhauer.
