The Candy Tangerine Man is a 1975 American action-adventure blaxploitation film starring John Daniels, Eli Haines and Tom Hankason. Distributed by Moonstone Entertainment, it follows the story of the powerful "Black Baron" (Daniels), both a pimp and a doting father.
The Candy Tangerine Man: Directed by Matt Cimber. With John Daniels, Eli Haines, Tom Hankason, Marva Farmer. Sunset Boulevard is a lucrative place to work for the Black Baron, a pimp with a distinctive red and yellow Rolls Royce and plenty of girls on his books.
There's a hilariously dark reveal part way through this film (although the theme song kind of spoils it). The Baron spends his nights recruiting new girls, avoiding the racist cops that want to arrest him, challenging rival pimps, and fighting off some peckerwood thugs trying to end his business.
