The Way Home is television series originally aired on Hallmark Channel, premiered on January 15, 2023. Filmed on Scarborough, Ontario, the drama showcases the sometimes-complex of family's drama.
The show follows three generations of women who discover an ability to travel through time, embark on an enlightening and surprising journey to find their way back to each other and learn important lessons about their families past.

On March 2, 2023, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on January 21, 2024. On March 20, 2024, the series was renewed for a third season which will premiere in 2025.
The series is filmed in Toronto,Ontario more specifically in the east-central part of the Great White North at the Uxbridge township . The fictional town is Port Haven, New Brunswick, in the series. The small region is a part of Durham, which belongs to the eastern parts of Toronto. The filming of the inaugural season began in August 2022 and wrapped production in December 2022.
It was renewed for second season which premiere in 2024. The filming for season 2 of The Way Home began on Aug. 21, 2023 and wrapped production on Dec. 5. The production was granted waivers to continue filming during the strike.
