   About Tri-City Heat Treat. Ralph Damewood and Elmer Priebe opened a modern Heat Treat plant in August of 1960. Tri-City Heat Treat started in a 9,800 square foot building in Rock Island. In 1971 Elmer Priebe passed away and Ralph took ownership.
