Diederick Koopal (Groningen, 1963) is een Nederlands filmregisseur en reclamemaker. Koopal groeide op in Gouda, en studeerde daarna Rechten in Groningen. Vanwege een oproep voor militaire dienstplicht werd de studie afgebroken. Tijdens deze periode volgde hij een opleiding copywriting.
