To me, Joanna Newsom is the greatest musician of the 21st century. All of her releases have been extremely high quality, and I probably rate Ys as one of the greatest albums of all time (one of the few I'd give 10/10), and easily the best of the 2000s.
Joanna Newsom (born January 18, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in Northern California, Newsom was classically trained on the harp in her youth and began her career as a keyboardist in the San Francisco-based indie band the Pleased.
