Of the classics of world literature crying out to be filmed as a sexual fantasy for teenage girls, surely "Red Riding Hood" is far down on the list. Here's a movie that cross-pollinates the "Twilight" formula with a werewolf and adds a girl who always wears a red hooded cape, although I don't recall her doing any riding.

Mar 11, 2011 · The legend of Red Riding Hood is one of those stories that has survived through the ages thanks to its rich symbolism and powerful imagery. But it's mostly wasted here on a terrible script...
Red Riding Hood had its world premiere at Hollywood on March 7, 2011, and was theatrically released on March 11, 2011, by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film received generally negative reviews from critics and grossed over $97 million worldwide.
Imagine a story which seems to be set in an old Transylvania village put to upbeat music and a very romantic story line. I know it has had some bad reviews, personally it is a love/horror/werewolf thriller that is a winner to me. Red Riding Hood is worth watching and then some. 30 out of 47 found this helpful.
