The main difference is the vibe, the director's cut is a more dramatic movie leaving out the comedic relief, the unrated cut contains all the jokes and gags and is more like a black comedy instead. 2. Nov 30, 2016 · i vaguely remember a bad santa 2 also. I remember enjoying Bad Santa, and then seeing the trailer for the sequel and completely losing interest in seeing the movie. But i cant say for certain.

Dec 16, 2021 · I can’t believe this was director Terry Zwigoff’s original vision. This might be a case of positive studio interference. Of the 3 cuts I'm aware of (Theatrical, Extended [Bad der Santa], and Director's Cut), my preference is the Extended. To my memory, the Director's Cut is definitely a darker, more somber movie.
Another shitty sequel to another beloved comedy classic that comes far too late. How many of these things are they going to make before they realize they never work? Dumb and dumber to, nope. Joe Dirt 2, nope. Anchorman 2, nope. Zoo lander 2, nope. The list goes on and on. I'll eat my fucking sock if this is even half as good as the original.

I loved every second the original Bad Santa. But I agree, the trailer wasn't bad. Whoever the writer happened to be.

Perfect film for family fun and enjoyment. This actually looks like it will be hilarious. For a sec I thought the sequel's name was "Bad Santa 2: Red Band" and thought that was incredibly clever. Some of the "fucks" didn't really feel right, but it looks better than from the first trailer that's for sure.
