These days it's more associated with Savile Row, but tailors in LA like Jack Taylor, Sy Devor, Harry Cherry and Tom Stasinis made them popular in Hollywood first.

I debated silver buttons for a while and decided to stay with the traditional option of gilt. But it's purely a matter of personal preference.
Sep 30, 2009 · As for suits, Jack Taylor. Period. There is no subsitute, so just deal with it. It's actually a hilarious scene in there once you get used to it. The final product is completely handmade, perfect. Jack puts a handsewn permanent crease in the pants and the suits get better over time.

Mar 23, 2006 · Louis, Boston offered a RTW line called "Oxxford Bespoke" five or six years ago. The labels read: "Oxxford Bespoke Est. 2000 Louis, Boston" I'm not quite sure why it was called "Oxxford Bespoke", unless it was simply because everything was to Louis, Boston specs.

Jul 28, 2022 · Me too. Mine. I haven't seen yours. Also consider Converse's other iconic shoe, the Chuck Taylor All Star. If you're looking at the CVO, you'd probably want more of a traditional Chuck than the one I'm about to show, but I do so because I'm wearing them now coming back from town, about to switch into mower mode with the Chucks in the last pic.

My question is whether this shop is carrying a "higher grade" of Jack Victor than the discount shops to warrant the price, or if it's a similar suit that just isn't discounted due to the type of shop. For reference, it was a "Zuma" model, which turns up little to no google results.
