A Very Special Favor is a 1965 romantic comedy film directed by Michael Gordon and starring Rock Hudson and Leslie Caron . Plot. Paul Chadwick (Hudson) is a wealthy American oilman who is in a Parisian court, where he is up against the opposing lawyer Michel Boullard ( Charles Boyer ).
In New York, Boullard discovers that his daughter is a spinster psychologist engaged to mother-dominated Arnold Plum, and he asks Chadwick to have an affair with her. Posing as a patient, Chadwick seeks Lauren's help in fighting off sexually aggressive women.
