Carnegie Hall (/ ˈ k ɑːr n ɪ ɡ i / KAR-nig-ee) [3] [note 1] is a concert venue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It is at 881 Seventh Avenue, occupying the east side of Seventh Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets.

Koerner Hall opened on 25 September 2009, beginning a new age of large-scale performances at The Royal Conservatory. [ 20 ] The original building, McMaster Hall, was renamed Ihnatowycz Hall in 2005, [ 21 ] in reference to the contribution of alumni Ian Ihnatowycz and Marta Witer. [ 21 ]
