Carry on Camping is a fun entry with the usual innuendo and British postcard humour. It's well-made, has nice locations, and Peter Butterworth as the aptly named mr Fiddler - he's overcharging for the use of his field for camping - is hilarious.

With Elke Sommer, Kenneth Williams, Bernard Bresslaw, Kenneth Connor. Two professors visit an archaeological dig near a caravan park. Amidst eccentric characters and sexual humor, the caravan site sinks, leading to a striptease performance instead of the planned cabaret.
Carry on Camping. Betty Marsden said during filming to Dilys Laye that she always wanted to die with a glass of gin in her hand. In Denville Hall, a home for old actors, this is exactly what happened 24 hours after Miss Marsden arrived there in July 1998: she collapsed and died at the home's bar while drinking gin.
