Jan 20, 2011 · fuel for drift cars. so wit e85 just about gone off the market now wat fuel r people planning on running tis yr. i was running e85 but am going back to petrol and uping the boost to have near enough the same power hopefully. wats other peoples plans race fuel or ive heard of some maybe mixing petrol and toulene. So a couple of years ago i picked up my first drifter an E36 325i (english import) AKA Rot Box done the usual mods and after a long time waiting i pulled my finger out and got it to a couple of drift days, It didn't go well.

MX5 any good to start drifting. As above lads me and a buddy looking for a cheap starter car. He wants to do track days and i want to drift. We dont want a turbo so we can fix it as we go. Budget is about €1000 so we were looking at a 1.8 mx5 and strip it out weld the diff and trash it.
Aug 5, 2012 · If you want it to be a semi-road drift car, go for something like a 3.46-3.64 or if its just for the track, go with a 4.1-4.45. Will need most of these ratios to be built by fitting an apropriate cwp into an E36 casing
Its the half shafts and the diffs that break, one of mine actually stripped the crown wheel, theres a lot of rubbish talked about them, that they're bulletproof etc, people say the same thing about SR engines, no engine is bulletproof if drifting sitting on the limiter all the time, the main drawback with the Volvos is that there's nearly no aftermarket parts available for them and what you ...
