Aug 30, 2022 · Hyatt Regency is generally business or convention oriented, most have plenty of meeting space. They’ve also got non-meeting stuff and some are resorts. They’re typically upscale but not super fancy. Grand Hyatt is generally more luxury and upscale than regencies. Park Hyatt is supposedly more luxury than Grand Hyatt.
Mar 21, 2024 · I’ve used points to book a standard room for 4 nights at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki in May, and I’m thinking that it might be worth getting a Guest of Honor Award gifted to me for the Globalist benefits. I’m only a Discoverist, so that seems like the only way I can get an upgraded room, free parking, and club access for breakfast.
Sep 13, 2023 · While staying at a Hyatt Place the Hyatt app prompted me to install a WiFi passpoint profile on my iPhone. I love the fact that now it securely connects to the Hyatt WiFi while I travel to different hotels. I see the option to sign in to Hyatt Passpoint while staying at a hotel on my PC.
Jan 11, 2023 · You should be able to add your account number at check in, or before if you have the Hyatt confirmation number. Whether you get points or night credit depends on the terms the event organizers negotiated and how payment is made. If you're not paying the property yourself, you will not get points or night credits.
Food and drinks were the best I've had at an AI Hyatt. Not everything was amazing, but some items were fantastic. Really loved the coffee shop, Punta Vista, Maria Marie/the tapas bar area and room service. We didn't try the Asian restaurant, sports bar, or mezcal bar. I've never had bad service at a Hyatt AI, but the Zilara had the best yet.
Apr 19, 2024 · Can’t believe Hyatt corporate is allowing this location to deceive guests like that. 4 years and they don’t update the website! They offered me 2k pts per night but I pushed to get moved over to the Regency. Saved a lot of money getting lounge meals and drinks and the resort was actually pretty decent.
May 21, 2023 · I love the Hyatt Regency SOMA. The suits are very nice and their breakfast is top tier compared to all of the other properties in SF. This property is very modern with a French restaurant inside the premises. Location is great, It’s just around the corner from Union Square. The HR Embarcadero and Grand Hyatt rooms are a little dated for my taste.
Jul 16, 2022 · So, some inside insight: preCOVID Hyatt was actively working on rebuilding Colleague Advantage to handle everything. Post COVID I think they're just trying to limp by. I expect Hyatt to need to accelerate the CA upgrades though as Marriott and Hilton are introducing new a new PMS each.
Aug 22, 2022 · Today I was able to take a near $400 a night rate down 35% just by checking out the Google rates and getting a better price. Hyatt looked at the full booking fee (after third party fees) matched the price and shaved 20% off on top of that. Saved me about 1/3 of the trip. First time I’d ever thought to use it and it worked out wonderfully.
Apr 6, 2022 · Hyatt sort of sucks in LA, they have some good hotels but with the massive size of the area it's not good enough and it's really lacking when it comes to options in the areas people actually want to stay. Andaz WeHo is the current crown jewel, they gave me Mick Jagger's preferred suite as a complimentary upgrade when I stayed.
