This was my favorite book when I was a kid, and The Green Ribbon was probably the best story/chapter in the book, at least it's the most memorable. I'm having a hard time remembering the pirate one.

Anyone remember The Green Ribbon? It was in a collection (can’t remember the name of the book) of short horror stories. There were a few other good stories in there but this one always fucked me up and the only one that really stuck with me.
