Dec 17, 2020 · Everything felt like it was deliberately set to fit in an actual 1984 movie. Random chaos and people bumping into each other on small sets, crumpled papers whirling everywhere, cheesy dialogue. That is a good way of looking at it actually. but it isnt deliberate enough to be obvious so it just looked sloppy and cheesy.

It's a popcorn movie. Worth watching once, not worth buying or watching a second time. The movie has no lasting repercussions and zero character growth. If you like bubblegum, you'll like it. If you don't, you won't. It is absolutely too shallow and campy a movie to try an dissect or do a deep breakdown of.
Aug 26, 2023 · Even shitty reviewed films such as venom have managed to do good at the box office, and 84 did do good on home video and blu ray sales from memory. Yes, it was a catastrophic failure. Good will towards Wonder Woman was abundant, the first movie was loved and hype for the sequel was through the roof.

Jun 9, 2021 · Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor put this random architect’s body in incredible danger. They get into gunfights in Egypt, in the White House, etc. Imagine if “Steve Trevor” gets shot and killed inside the White House, and after WW cries for the death of “Steve Trevor”, someone has to contact this architect’s family and help them puzzle over why he was killed by gunfire at the White House.

May 8, 2024 · The first movie was fairly generic. But you have to consider the context at the time. DC was having a difficulty putting anything remotely watchable on the big screen, so compared to the other DCEU movies Wonder Woman seemed like a masterpiece just for being able to do the basics of what you expect of a superhero movie.
