An A.A. meeting may take one of several forms, but at any meeting you will find alcoholics talking about what drinking did to their lives, their relationships, and their personalities; what actions they took to help themselves; and how they are living their lives today.
Go to the Saturday morning meeting at Fairbanks hospital, best meeting to get a sponsor. Go to as many meetings as you can at different places for 3 months. If you stick with it you will ultimately connect with someone or several people that will save your life. You will hear 90 meetings in 90 days.
You’ll see the days, times and places AA meetings are held. Meetings marked with (O) are Open Meetings – anyone can attend, while those marked with a (C) are Closed Meetings – for people who have a desire to stop drinking.
