Oct 2, 2012 · Using a PCI FireWire card, DPC checker reports an average of 200-300us when playing my full cubase projects with my FireWire card set to 256k buffer. When project is stopped, DPC checker reports 30-75us. No dropouts ever reported.
The biggest downsides is that it has somewhat of a learning curve with the digital routing, and the way it is packaged by Tascam almost guarantees a damaged unit. We had two show up at the studio with the same damage caused by insufficient packaging. Make sure you inspect it thoroughly....especially the rear panel.
