Jul 9, 2014 · I'm the newbiest of newbies. Got a Tascam DM 4800 a few months ago and, after researching software, went with the Mixcraft 6. I have them connected via Firewire and figured out how to get each separate track from the Tascam to record on separate tracks on the M6 (24 tracks for now).
MIDI control change messages are now supported, allow-ing mixer parameters (FADER, PAN, and MUTE) to be controlled. This allows MIDI devices to be controlled in synchroniza-tion with operations on the DM-4800 mixer, or conversely for mixer parameters to be controlled from a MIDI device.
