Jun 12, 2017 · The converters in the Tascam are extremely good by the way and you can use it as your main sound card but you need the IO box expansion thingy. The Midas desk only has 8 faders to control the daw, you can't use all of them.

Feb 9, 2017 · I suppose you checked the "obvious" things, such as Pan-L and Pan-R, assign to the outputs, Channel and Buss (when not "direct") faders, unwanted inserts, input faders in CB, etc. Have you tried different channels in CB and DM?
Hello? I had some more questions about the tascam dm-4800, we are thinking of getting 2 of them and linking them together, and based on your experience with a single desk, how do you think it will work with 2? will the outboard meters show the same thing, or will they show what each desk is attempting to display?

Feb 7, 2007 · I have heard very mixed reviews about this board. I was strongly considering getting one myself. I have heard the preamps are useable, nothing great, but not bad. However, I have also heard that the board functions in a very unintuitive way, and takes a lot of getting used to.
