Jun 12, 2017 · Also keep in mind that Tascam is not so good with keeping up with drivers so if you use it with a mac, you should test it first. My old Tascam FW-1884 works with win 10 and was two models before the DM4800 so if you're on windows, I doubt it would be a problem.
Tascam has a hell worse than navigating all the rest. The DDX on the other hand was really an example of functionality that the Tascam 4800 is inspired and is a real plus for them. The manual is enough to know that some digital and menu and submenus.

If you're looking to go digital check out the Yamaha LS9 as I believe it's in the same price range. I have a Tascam interface that I like but when it comes to consoles themselves Yamaha is really the leader.
