Telano and Sepe operated on the streets of New York City in the 1960s and 1970s, and were known for their unorthodox undercover work and inventive ways of gathering data on their suspects.
It was broadcast from April 1975 (pilot movie) to August 1979 on the ABC network. Starsky & Hutch was distributed by Columbia Pictures Television in the United States and, originally, Metromedia Producers Corporation and later on 20th Television in Canada and some other parts of the world.
