The Dyatlov Pass incident (Russian: гибель тургруппы Дятлова, romanized:gibel turgruppy Dyatlova, lit. 'Death of the Dyatlov Hiking Group') is an event in which nine Soviet hikers died in the northern Ural Mountains between February 1 and 2, 1959, under uncertain circumstances.
