Film school is great for networking, the actual education part you can learn from the internet and books and working with other filmmakers. So, essentially, film school is a very expensive three year networking event.
I’d suggest you go to something in either Vancouver or Toronto. Langara, UBC, SFU, Cap, all great public options that will be higher quality and cheaper then VFS. Not as familiar with the options in Toronto.
