Reasons: I always loved to learn PPE so that I can have 3 different lenses to think about the world’s problems, and I really like Balliol’s left-leaning student body. However you also pay something like a £40 'catering charge' each term (68p x 7 (days) x 8 (weeks)) on battles every term you live in college. If you live out of college, you don't pay the catering charge but you get charged £2.48 for every dinner you have in college (£1.80+68p).
Aug 16, 2023 · Also, the three colleges I am planning to pick from are Balliol, St John's and The Queen's College. If there is anybody from these colleges who see this, I was wondering what the tutors are like? When I was on an open day I was told that the tutors at The Queen's College are lovely.
