Mar 3, 2005 · Highly Recommendable, for the right audience. *** The TV series (2019) is a fairly faithful adaptation, capturing much of the book’s essence. Charlie Plummer, Kristine Froseth and Denny Love; Pudge, Alaska and The Colonel, respectively, the best of the movie by far.

It’s a book aimed to a teenage demographic but it’s a short read with a great storyline full of lessons. Of all the John Green books I’ve read this one is easily my favorite and yes that includes The Fault in Our Stars. Green makes ‘seeking a Great Perhaps’ the cornerstone of this story.
