Camel are my favorite band period and I could talk about them for hours, pretty much love every album they’ve ever done. You absolutely need to hear Moonmadness, The Snow Goose and Rajaz
Camel - As far as debuts go, this is really really good. I don’t know why people set it apart from the others and sometimes give it flack. I love pretty much every track off this album, especially Mystic Queen.
Camel are an English progressive rock band formed in Guildford, Surrey, in 1971. Led by guitarist Andrew Latimer, they have released fourteen studio albums and fourteen singles, plus numerous live albums and DVDs.
Feb 29, 2024 · Diagnosed with a blood disorder known as polycythaemia vera in 1992, Latimer experienced an arduous and debilitating run of extremely poor health that eventually put paid to Camel’s status as a fully-functioning live band. Since receiving chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, Latimer’s determination has miraculously seen him through.
