Pyeongchang (English: / ˌpjʌŋˈtʃɑːŋ / pyung-CHAHNG, [2] Korean: [pʰjʌŋtɕʰaŋ]; in full, Pyeongchang-gun [pʰjʌŋtɕʰaŋɡun]) is a county in the province of Gangwon-do, South Korea, located in the Taebaek Mountains region. It is home to several Buddhist temples, including Woljeongsa.
