- Visit Dawlish Town Beach. The sandy Dawlish Town Beach runs along the coast by the town, and at the far end, it’s backed by cliffs. It’s a long beach, perfect for a stroll, and trains travelling to Exeter and Plymouth whizz along the parallel tracks.
