Castle Park is a municipal park on the site of both the 11th century Bristol Castle, demolished in 1656, and the site of the Saxon Settlement (dated to around 1000 AD) of Bristol. It is a nice big green space next to the river so it is a perfect place to sit and admire the view. It's also a good place to chill out after walking round or shopping and have a sandwich is just to relax.
