Massey College is a place where people and ideas intersect. The College strives to empower the next generation of thinkers and leverage the great intellectual wealth of interdisciplinary, intergenerational, inclusive and informed community in service to the public good.
Visiting Scholars are invited to Massey College to enrich the community and share their unique perspectives with the Fellowship. Academics on sabbatical, researchers or distinguished arts professionals, who do not require accommodation, may apply to become Visiting Scholars.
Identify yourself as a Senior Fellow of Massey College. Contribute to the governance of the college through activities such as participating in fundraising or accepting a role on one of the committees of the Governing Board, such as the SF Nominating Sub-Committee, the Risk Committee, etc.
Acting Principal. Jonathan Rose is a Professor in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, and an Affiliate Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.
Massey College has 60 spots for resident Junior Fellows and up to 70 for non-residents. Each year, around 20 spots open up for resident and 30 for non-resident Junior Fellows. Starting in 2021, Massey College Junior Fellowship is open to a limited number of Post-docs.

The William Southam Journalism Fellows are an integral part of the Massey College community. Since 1962, the program has gathered over 250 esteemed Canadian and international journalists for an academic year of education, reflection, and fellowship.
