The big issue with Notre dame is what you do if you're not in the 40% Biglaw+Fed clerkship category. Going to school in a small town in Indiana is not going to give you that many opportunities to do internships during the school year.

The law school is wonderful. It's quite young (the average age of matriculation was 23 when I started, but might be 24 now). There's a bit of a college vibe, since the surrounding area is such a college town. Everyone tends to live in the same places, so there's a strong sense of community.
