The Doris Day Show aired from 1968-1973 on CBS. The early years plot revolved around recently widowed Doris Martin and her two boys leaving the city for the tranquility of her father's ranch. Later Doris and her boys moved back to the city (San Francisco) where she worked as a secretary for eventually working her way into a journalist position.

While hardly the greatest project of Miss Day's career, it is a warm, sweet, buccolic, nicely cast comedy about a recently widowed mom of two, living on a farm in California with her sons, her dad, a handyman, housekeeper and a large dog.
