Hason Raja (literally meaning, Hason the King) was a Bengali zamindar and a mystic devotee. Hasan Raja was born on 24th January 1854, in the zamindar family of Lakshmansree in Sylhet. His grandfather was a convert from Kshatriya Hinduism to Islam, and as such Hason Raja inherited vast wealth and land at the age of fifteen.
