Jun 30, 2021 · The Strategy of the Snail (Sergio Cabrera, 1993) is one of Colombia’s best-known films. It was a great success on its release and was that year’s selection for the Oscar for Best International Film (though sadly, it did not secure a nomination).
Brief Synopsis. A group of tenants who share an old house in Bogota fear impending eviction when the owner tries to reclaim the building.

A lot of people live in an ocupated house; after many years of quiet living, the owner of the house wants them out. They try whatever they can to avoid being put out, without sucess. But one of them thinks of a way of saving, at least, their dignity.
