Installing CrommCruac’s Absolute and Atmosfear as well as downloading the latest SRP version gives you basically CS Complete 2.0. And all of it is totally compatible, so you do not even have to merge anything.
Complete is "STALKER: The Adventure" vs other mods that aim for "STALKER: The Difficulty". Challenge is great, but not every gamer wants a game that absolutely ruins them unless they do everything perfect (lookin' at you, Misery).
The mod improves the overall visual and atmospheric experience while maintaining the essence of the original game's storyline with updated textures, shaders, weather effects, and sound enhancements to immerse players further into the world of the Chernobyl exclusion zone.

Oblivion Lost and the weapons mod is by far the best way to go for mods in this game. Buuuuut, I guess that's the point of mods. I would definitely recommend a play-through with no mods first, then put together your own personalized mod pack and make the game to be exactly as you like it.
