May 17, 2022 · The car was painted using 12 cans of Cobalt Blue Rust-Oleum spray paint. First the door jambs, firewall, and cowl were sprayed, then the rest. The center of the front bumper wasn’t in great condition, so it was removed, making the Spitfire’s blacked-out grille a focal point.
