Aug 24, 2023 · Officially, 20th Century Fox no longer exists, having been rebranded to 20th Century Studios, but its logo history is still worth examining, especially as it's one of the best entertainment logos we know of. Here, we look at the main variations of the 20th Century Fox logo over the years.
From 1994 to 2000, [45][46] Fox operated Fox Animation Studios, a traditional animation studio which was started to compete with Walt Disney Animation Studios, which was experiencing great success with films such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King.
At one point, 20th Century Animation had two subsidiaries: Fox Animation Studios, which was shut down on June 26, 2000, and Blue Sky Studios (the latter became the primary unit of 20th Century Animation), which was closed on April 10, 2021. Logo (October 31, 2000)
The 20th Century Studios logo was animated by Picturemill (the prototype version of the 2020 structure and the 2021 structure with the 2009 sky background exists and appeared in some of Picturemill reels), also responsible for animated the Searchlight Pictures logo also in 2020, based on Blue Sky Studios' animation.
