8. Jan-Michael Vincent’s stunt double died during production. On January 18, 1985, Vincent’s stunt double Reid Rondell, was killed when an Airwolf flying sequence went awry. The 22-year-old was burned to death when the helicopter he was riding in crashed in Pico Canyon, 25 miles north of Los Angeles.
