If you are lucky, your items are sent by UBI Smart Parcels and they clear the customs before arriving in Canada, so there's less delay at Canadian border.
Feb 23, 2021 · AliExpress standard shipping is still the best method. It takes 1-2 weeks to pass customs and the rest of the wait is determined by Canada Post. China Post Registered Mail: Honestly better than I anticipated. Similar to the Cainiao shipping method but is slightly better.

Yes. But it's not Amazon. I've made thousands of purchases on AE to be sent to Canada. Every once in a while, one is a scam and I have to start a dispute to get my money back. 99.9% aren't. The shipping from Canada to China was over $70. It has now been almost three months and multiple communications with the package stuck in China Post Office and still no refund. So i have been out of pocket for almost $200 for over two months as the seller will not respond and aliexpress will not refund until the seller acknowledges receipt of the defective product.

A lot of times I've found that Canadapost itself tends to be pretty slow. Recently however I've noticed slowdowns with carriers from China more so than usual. Reply. bakaken.

Thought I did enough research about shipping to Canada (as long as products are under $20 CAD, I won't be charged customs fees or taxes), but I forgot about brokerage fees.
