The only thing I kinda agree is that bats can distract the warden but how many bats do you in counter while in the deep dark. So again the bat in my opinion is the most useless mob in the game no YouTuber or Minecraft pro would ever seek out the bat. Name me 1 YouTuber that would seek out the bat and has a good following? You probably can’t.
Sep 7, 2021 · Minecraft bats are completely useless. Minecraft bats do nothing for players when they are killed. There's no loot that can possibly be dropped from them, and they won't drop XP under any...

If looks are "useless" then just turn every hostile into a type of zombie. We also would not have texture pack, different bosses and slabs. Bats are also the mob version of command blocks: useless outside of maps.

Minecraft has a handful of useless mobs that aren't worth tackling individually, as they serve little purpose. The Bat, Polar Bear, Panda, and Llama are the four worst mobs in Minecraftbecause they don't offer players anything for their efforts. Llamas can act as mobile storage, but they take too much effort to move around. Polar Bears and Pandas s...
The next five mobs are not as useless as the first batch - but not by much. The Wolf, Ocelot, Cat, Parrot, and Fox are tamable Minecraft mobsthat the player can feed to gain their trust. After they're tamed, they can accompany the player on their adventures or be set to stay in specific locations. The Cat and Ocelot ward off Creepers, which makes t...
Minecraft'sTurtles drop Scutes when changing from a baby to an adult, and these can be used to make Turtle Helmets. That's the extent of Turtles' usefulness, and it takes a lot of effort to get just a few Scutes. The Turtles' breeding mechanics and small payoff make them mobs players will want to avoid until later in the game. Related: The Coolest ...
Rabbits are native to deserts and drop Raw Rabbit and Rabbit Hide when killed. Four pieces of hide can be turned into one piece of leather, which makes them a last-resort source of the material, and they are very quick, so killing them for food may take more of players' hunger than it's worth. They also have a small chance of dropping a Rabbit's Fo...
Minecrafthas a variety of fish, but they all serve the same purpose, with the exception of the Blowfish. The Cod, Salmon, and Tropical Fish can all be killed and cooked for a decent source of food, or they can be caught in buckets and brought back as decorations. The Blowfish, however, is poisonous and will hurt the player if they get too close. Th...
Squids are a highly sought-after mob because they are the only safe source of Black Dye. These passive mobs can be annoying to hunt, and all they offer is dye, so they fall a bit lower on the list. The Glow Squid will be added to Minecraftvia the next update, but it serves relatively the same purpose.
While a boat or Depth Strider boots would be a more reliable alternative, Dolphins offer a quick mode of transportation across large bodies of water. No, players can't mount them like a water horse; instead, nearby dolphins give players the Dolphin's Grace effect, which allows them to swim faster. This is incredibly useful for the beginning of a ne...
These three mobs are pretty similar, and it'd be hard to rank each one individually because their usefulness depends on how a player wants to use them. Steeds such as the Horse, Donkey, and Mule are great ways to traverse land quickly, and the Mule and Donkey can act as portable storage units. Horses can move quicker and jump higher, but they can't...
These ugly creatures are one of the newest additions to the game, and they are also super useful when traveling in the Nether. Striders were added during Minecraft's Nether update, along with the new Nether biomes. If a player equips a Strider with a saddle and uses a mushroom fishing rod, the Strider can carry them across large lava lakes. They ar...
Pigs are food, and that is the only purpose they serve. However, a cooked porkchop replenishes the most hunger bars and has the highest amount of saturation of all cooked meats. Pigs are easy to breed, and killing them with a flame sword automatically cooks the meat. They may not offer much else, but players will never go hungry with a hearty suppl...

No. I think bats are completely useless. I am just saying that OP's point of using bats to locate caves isn't a good one because zombies or any hostile creature that spawns in darkness would do a better job than a bat at helping to locate a cave. Due to higher spawn chances and being louder.
I think the implication that bats are useless is pretty bad though. They're essential to maintaining rain forests via dispersing seeds and eliminating infectious insects with a robust immunity preventing the spread of disease.

Jul 26, 2023 · Bats are useless and only for ambience. But, in real life there are caves meant for bats. So, why not make a cave biome addition for bats. The biome would spawn occasionally and be more rare than lush caves, but maybe as frequent as azalea surface trees.
