I’m trying to build a blaze farm in the nether using a blaze spawner, but the blaze keep spawning and attacking me sometimes killing me and it’s really annoying. Is there any way I can stop them from spawning through the spawner?
The best armor would be diamond armor enchanted with either Protection, Fire Protection, or Projectile Protection. In the overworld, you should gather snowballs and pumpkins. Then, you should go to the nether, make snow golems to attack the blazes.
Blazes drop double xp compared to normal mobs, so if you damage them down to 1-hit kill mending can easily repair the armor enough, especially in 1.16.2+ since thorns was buffed to cause less durability loss.
You can then simply dump it into a smeltery or foundry chute and burn it into blazing blood. Alternatively, if you're using a cleaver, you will sometimes lop off Blaze heads while fighting them - the heads can be placed in the foundry or smeltery for 100mb of blaze blood each.
