Blazes spawn in the Nether in Nether Fortresses, primarily from Blaze Spawners, although they occasionally spawn naturally without Spawners.
Although Blazes are able to fly, they will stay on the ground or sink down slowly in the air when not attacking a Player. Blazes target Players within a 48-Block radius, and attack by shooting 3 fireballs at him/her which sets him/her on Fire. If the Player gets close, they can also attack by charging at the Player.
Blazes can be killed easily using a high-tier Sword, but in open spaces, Bows are recommended. They can also be killed easily if the Player has Snowballs.
