Nov 14, 2021 · 1. Approaching the fortress. Can be the worst part. If the fortress is out in the open over lava, blazes will spawn over it and snipe you from huge distance. Try to circle around and approach from a side where fortress blends into landmass. If you have to bridge over to fortess, you can use pistons to create a bridge without exposing yourself.
