Aug 30, 2023 · Be it a mouse, a bunny, a monkey, an explorer, or a sponge, we all had our favorite cartoons growing up. Cartoon characters are one of the most recognizable parts of a kid’s life. Cartoons are more than just taking kids to an imaginary world. Cartoon characters can actually help create an environment where kids are open to learning.
- Garfield (Garfield) Originally based on a comic strip from the 1970s and later converted into an animated cartoon, Garfield is the iconic orange Persian cat from the cartoon of the same name.
- Tom Cat (Tom & Jerry) Since the first episode of Tom and Jerry aired in 1940, audiences have debated what kind of cat Tom Cat is. He is believed to be either a shorthair cat or a Russian Blue, although it’s unclear which.
- The Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland) When we think of Disney cats, the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland is likely one that comes to mind pretty quickly.
- Tigger (Winnie the Pooh) Tigger is one of the few Disney big cats that aren’t evil or have questionable morals. Instead, he is a lovable and hyperactive stuffed animal belonging to Christopher Robin who comes to life in the Hundred Acre Wood alongside Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and a whole range of other stuffed animals.
- Alice — 'Alice in Wonderland' Don’t eat or drink things if you don’t know where they came from.
- Flynn — 'Tangled' Don’t be afraid to let people know the real you. You don’t have to pretend to be someone else to succeed. Be proud of who you are.
- Rapunzel — 'Tangled' Venture outside your comfort zone. The rewards are worth it.
- Kida — 'Atlantis: The Lost Empire' Learn about your family history while you can. One day it will be lost to you completely.
Feb 25, 2016 · Give students an opportunity to list character traits about the character they know the best: themselves! This is a great self-esteem activity. It gives students a chance to reflect on who they are, and gets them practicing to list traits too. Here’s a great example of character traits.
