DeSerres gift cards (hereafter “gift cards”) can be used to pay for purchases at DeSerres retail outlets or at www.deserres.ca; Gift cards have no value until purchased and activated. They cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, or used to purchase other gift cards.
In Canada, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and Nova Scotia have each enacted legislation to stop gift cards/certificates from expiring. Cards issued before the effective date are still subject to the old rules.
