Jun 17, 2024 · I also have a Kaufman 22.5K deck over pintle hitch trailer that I just bought a year or two ago, so far seems to be pretty good as well. I will say this though, the basic structure, welds, materials, paint etc are all quite good on the Kaufman trailers, but there are small QC things sometimes get overlooked.

Jul 2, 2012 · When I needed a 7000 lb trailer to haul my Case, I looked around a lot and, of the brands I saw, the Big Tex definitely had more steel in them so I got one. I have the stow away ramps since I sometimes use it for hauling hay and such but if I used it a lot for tractor hauling the folding ramps would be much nicer. Case D40.

Feb 13, 2017 · Both deckover with dovetail. Both 14k with Dexter axles (obviously 8 lug). Both 20 footers (PJ is 17+3, Gator is 16+4). Both flip up ramps with springs. Both dealers are about an hour away. Was sold on PJ, but Gatormade grabbed my attention (only due to price). Big Tex is actually a few dollars more than PJ. Kaufman is similar price to PJ.
